Found Art
Found art is where the artist draws a connection between an everyday item and a broader theme. This found art takes an unusual object and has it called to action to make the world a better place

This guitar/frame/flag sculpture is a nod to Woody Guthrie’s “This machine kills fascists” guitar, used while fighting in WWII. The work was one of three pieces I made for an anti fascist art show in the spring of 2026.

This huge working drum proclaims, “This drum fights for JUSTICE”. This found art piece has been the heartbeat and visual anchor of countless political events. Forever captured by print and television photographers.

“This Machine fights for Justice”. A 1952 royal-wide carriage typewriter was auctioned to support a Public Interest nonprofit. It is reported to be the same model used by Truman Capote.
